Kingwood Ballet (formerly known as KDT) is a 501c3 non-profit pre-professional ballet company.

Kingwood Ballet, formerly known as Kingwood Dance Theatre, is a 501c3 non profit classical & pre-professional ballet company serving communities located in Northeast Harris and Southeast Montgomery Counties since 1984. Kingwood Ballet is in residence at Stacey's Dance Studio under the direction of Kelly Agnew. All of the instructors and directors have danced professionally, have extensive teaching

experience, and are active in the Houston community. The Senior Ballet Company is an honor company in the Regional Dance America:Southwest Region. Kingwood Ballet offers a varied repertoire, including classical ballets, contemporary ballets, story ballets, pas de deux, and humor/satirical works. Kingwood Ballet is a non-profit organization that offers a full-length production of The Nutcracker Ballet each holiday season, a Ballet Gala at the Hobby Center, and a story ballet each spring.

Senior Spotlight!

Kingwood Ballet is proud to highlight our final Class of 2026 Senior, Abby Lenker!
Abby will be attending the University of Arizona to pursue a BFA in Dance and minor in business administration.
She has loved her time with Kingwood Ballet and will truly miss the amazing teachers and best friends she has made over the past 3 years.

Congratulations Abby! We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing you dance through your future achievements! 🎓💙❤️

Kingwood Ballet is proud to highlight our next Class of 2026 Senior Emerson Walker!

Emerson will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in the fall, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Public Policy. She is in search of a local ballet company in Austin to continue dancing.

Senior Spotlight! 👩‍🎓

Kingwood Ballet is proud to highlight our first Class of 2026 Senior, Bryn Avery! 🎓

Bryn will be attending the University of Oklahoma double majoring in Modern Dance Performance and Health and Exercise Science pursing a doctorate in physical therapy.

Kingwood Ballet has been her home away from home for 13 years. She found her best friends here and cannot imagine dance without them. It will be an adjustment and they are already planning and plotting visits to see each other during the Fall.

Congratulations Bryn! There is always a spot at the barre for you! 💕

Come dance with us! Kingwood Ballet performs two full length ballets each season along with a spring gala. We are a proud member of Regional Dance America and attend their Festival every year to perform and train with amazing faculty!

Another incredible RDA Southwest Festival! Thank you Festival Ballet Albuquerque for being such wonderful hosts. Our dancers enjoyed all of the instruction from the amazing dance faculty and were proud to be able to perform alongside their peers!
