Kingwood Ballet, formerly known as Kingwood Dance Theatre, is a 501c3 non profit classical & pre-professional ballet company serving communities located in Northeast Harris and Southeast Montgomery Counties since 1984. Kingwood Ballet is in residence at Stacey's Dance Studio under the direction of Kelly Agnew. All of the instructors and directors have danced professionally, have extensive teaching
experience, and are active in the Houston community. The Senior Ballet Company is an honor company in the Regional Dance America:Southwest Region. Kingwood Ballet offers a varied repertoire, including classical ballets, contemporary ballets, story ballets, pas de deux, and humor/satirical works. Kingwood Ballet is a non-profit organization that offers a full-length production of The Nutcracker Ballet each holiday season, a Ballet Gala at the Hobby Center, and a story ballet each spring.
