Native-born craft, perfected over generations. 🌵✨
Did you know the original shells hand-rolled by the artists of Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo) were sourced right here in our high desert landscape? Long before modern tools, ancestors traded for ocean shells and meticulously chipped, drilled, and ground every single disc by hand—shaping nature's gifts into the delicate, seamless strands of heishi we treasure today.
No two beads are ever identical, making each hand-strung strand of turquoise and shell a truly one-of-a-kind piece of Southwestern heritage.
Our entire heishi and Kewa Pueblo collections, including this handcrafted San Felipe necklace by Janalee Reano, are on sale for this week only!
