New Mexico Gunfighters Association Re-enactment group that does shows based on the 1870's -1910's era. We do old west comedy skits. Entertaining folks since 1979.

We are a hobby group (volunteer) that does re-enactments of the Old West (1880s-1920s) in the streets of Old Town, Albuquerque, NM. Offering a visually appealing step into the past, the New Mexico Gunfighters put on quite a performance in public plazas in Old Town Albuquerque. This ensemble of gun-slinging actors is part of an award-winning theatrical group who has been performing free public come

dic Old West skits in Albuquerque for over 36 years. The themes range from thrilling bank robberies to dramatic shoot outs and other scenes typical of the Wild West days of lore. The troop performs on Sunday afternoons between March and November on San Felipe near the Rattlesnake Museum. Albuquerque visitors won't be able to miss the family-friendly performances by the pops of gunfire that commence the show.

Ever wanted to spend a day on a real movie set? On Saturday, June 20, step back into the Old West at Mortenson's Eaves Movie Ranch near Santa Fe.

For more than 50 years, this historic movie ranch has hosted over 250 film and television productions. For one day, it becomes home to the Summer Western Market — featuring western vendors, handmade crafts, live music, carriage rides, chuckwagon cooking, family-friendly entertainment, and much more.

The Gunfighters are excited to return for the first Summer Western Market.

The Wild West Frontier Festival rides into Wildlife West Nature Park, and the New Mexico Gunfighters Association is ready to bring the town to life!

Join us for a full day of Old West fun featuring:

We'll be performing five different comedy gunfight shows throughout the weekend, featuring:

Every town has its characters. The lawmen trying to keep order. The outlaws causing trouble. The gamblers, drifters, and folks who always seem to be standing a little too close to the next shootout. At the Wild West Frontier Festival, the streets come alive with colorful personalities straight out of the Old West.

The New Mexico Gunfighters Association will be roaming the town, performing live comedy gunfight shows, and bringing a little frontier mischief wherever they go.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday—it is a moment to reflect on sacrifice, courage, and the freedoms we enjoy because others were willing to stand in harm’s way for them.

From all of us at the New Mexico Gunfighters Association, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who served and especially to those who never made it home.

The Wild West Frontier Festival isn’t just another event—it’s a chance to spend the day inside a living western town filled with music, performers, vendors, gunfighters, and frontier characters. You won’t just watch the action…you’ll be standing right in the middle of it.

The New Mexico Gunfighters Association will be roaming the streets, performing live comedy gunfight shows, interacting with guests, and bringing a little Wild West chaos to town along the way. But not many let you step directly into an Old West town where outlaws, lawmen, gamblers, and troublemakers roam the streets.

That’s exactly what’s coming to the Wild West Frontier Festival.
