I haven't been posting on here much. We've had a waiting list for literally years! We are no longer downtown, but have a space on Manzano NE up near the intersection of Copper and San Mateo. Anyway, we've had a couple of bands move out in the last month or so and we actually got to the end of our waiting list! That means we have a studio available! The studio currently available is 9x12' and rents for $330 a month. We will have another one available at the end of October. Call or text Paula at 505-259-6320 for more information. We just got news that a good friend has passed on. Bill Nelson started as a band tenant at Chroma Studios and quickly became a friend and later a bandmate in Sunlight. He was a Chroma legend having played in several bands. He played the drums on both of our albums. He was a fantastic drummer and never stopped working to improve his chops. You will be greatly missed. His wife and family are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

We are sad to announce it is the end of an era. After 13 years of renting band studios at our downtown location, we have lost our lease and will be closing the location. So many bands have passed through those doors and we are so grateful to all of the people who have made Chroma Studios the great community that it is. Our Manzano location will remain open and our waiting list is about to get a bit longer. Thank you Albuquerque bands for your continued support! We love you all!

We currently have one band studio available and two more opening up on the 1st of April, no foolin’! Two rent for $230 with a $230 deposit, big enough for a 3-5 piece band. The third studio rents for $160 with a $160 deposit, big enough for 1-3 people, best for a drummer who needs a place to practice without being harassed!
