Exciting News!

We are excited to announce that our playhomes and equipment will be moving to Santa Fe Children's Museum! Although bittersweet, we feel that our much loved little play town will continue to benefit and enrich the littlest learners in our community.

We are SO grateful for the love, support and friendships we made along the way. Thank you for the memories, we will continue to cherish them.

What a beautiful journey this has been! Thank you for giving us the best memories and friendships.

It’s no secret that 2020 was a remarkably difficult year. The shortage of staff, lockdowns, capacity restrictions, and masking requirements have prevented us to operate fully. However, we are SO grateful that it allowed us to slow down to think about the future and what to write on the next chapter.

Going through this time made us realize that our family life and priorities have simply changed. With this, we’ve come to the conclusion that running a new business, and much more during a pandemic, has not only been hard, but the stress from it had taken a toll on what’s truly important, our family.

So, what’s next? We would like to make a few more memories before we close.

We have opened our full availability on our website for the remainder of September. Open play and private playdates are available. We encourage you to make reservations for open play. Our last day of play will be September 26th.

If you have already booked a birthday party with us for September please know that we are looking forward to celebrating with you! Birthday’s that have been booked outside of September will be contacted and rescheduled or refunded. If you have any unused credits please use them.

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us and making Playbox your play home away from home.

We’d like for some of our play equipment to stay locally. Please reach out to us by DM if there is anything you would like to purchase or if you know of a local business, church or non-profit that could benefit from them. They will be priced to sell soon.

Playbox Discovery Center

Learning through play allows children to develop relationships, while also allowing them to discover their own independence. We encourage adults to get in on the fun and play along! Playbox Discovery Center has five custom playhouses, children can:

-Take care of sick hamsters and groom puppies in our Animal Clinic, -Climb up a ladder and slide down a slide to escape our Burning House. -Ring the fire bell and throw on a fire suit in our Fire Station. -Our Construction Zone offers lots of open ended play, lay bricks on our brick laying wall, and explore the plumbing ball drop. -Grab a shopping cart and shop for your favorite treats in our Discovery Market!

Playbox Discovery Center incorporates STEAM into many exhibits, children will create their own illuminated patterns using 7 ft Litezilla. This interactive light display encourages creativity, planning, and fun! Through play and experimentation, children can design and build a vertical ramp system for balls in our magnetic ball run.
