This Sunday, we hope you’ll join us for a very different kind of production - "I Wish this was a Play About a Giant Toad," at 6:02pm.
"I Wish This Was A Play About A Giant Toad" is a raw, anarchic exploration of grief, friendship, and memory. Through a kaleidoscopic narrative and a dynamic ensemble of seven performers, the play examines the fragmented landscapes of loss and human connection.
With visceral language, bold theatricality, and original music by Joseph Wood, this immersive work confronts the messy, grotesque, and tender truths of being alive. Written and directed by Natasha Biggs for David Crutchley, it is a heartfelt dedication that asks us to hold space for grief while celebrating the absurdity and beauty of existence. Low lights and headphones encouraged, but not required.
Stay tuned after the production for our interview with Biggs and Wood.
Radio Theater airs on 89.9 KUNM FM at 6:02pm on Sundays. Listen globally at www.kunm.org. The show is available after air date from our two week archive on the website.
