This is a dream come true! Glittering World Girl is hosting an Indigenous Augmented Reality Workshop at the Innovation Bridge Studio on the UCLA campus this Friday, May 1st! 💛🕶 This would not be possible without Agog and Spectacles!!!! We have Indigenous cultural storytellers & researchers, 60's rockers and more who have signed up! Workshops like this significantly lowers the barrier to entry into the XR space for so many! When I was learning AR development, there were no workshops like this that existed!

This is going to be fun! We have snacks, drinks and lunch!🧸🍯

Participants will walk away with $250, an understanding of designing immersive digital environments, basic code in Javascript, UI/UX design, 3D modeling, a creative community and strong knowledge on why XR technology is a powerful tool for Indigenous storytelling and Indigenous language and culture revitalization. No prior coding experience required.🚀

This in-person only 2-day workshop will run from 12pm-4pm each day in downtown Albuquerque at New Mexico Community Capital Resilience Hub, with an Indigenous-inspired lunch by Howdy Cakes 🍓
