Alert New Mexico House Hearing On SB 17
Your Neighborhood Gun Store AND Gun Show Needs Your Help

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, many New Mexico gun stores will be closed so their owners and employees can attend the hearing on SB 17. This bill threatens the survival of local, family-owned firearm businesses. If it passes, many of these stores will be forced to shut down permanently. That is why so many gun store owners will be in the hearing instead of open for business — they are fighting for their livelihoods and their employees’ jobs.

Senate Bill 17 will be heard in the House Commerce & Economic Development Committee.

This is a critical stop for SB 17 in the House. Attendance, testimony, and legislator contact matter right now. We only need to turn one vote to end this unconstitutional act.

Contact the House Committee and Ask them to OPPOSE SB 17

“I respectfully ask you to oppose SB 17. This bill harms lawful businesses, invites costly litigation, and does not address violent crime.”

I have been getting a lot of email asking about New Mexico's unconstitutional 7-day waiting period. The 10th District court has shutdown the law for it was unconstitutional. New Mexico's seven-day waiting period for most gun purchases is dead for now. Originally this was done in September.

Please help me get the word out that the show is still a "GO". Someone has taken down most of my signs and is trying to make people think we don't have a show. Problem: I put more signs up today, I have the show advertised on Radio, sent out 3500 emails, and have the show advertised here on Facebook.
