For those who enjoy pedal steel guitar and real country music. Support these events so we can continue to have them in the southeast Illinois region. Steel guitarist Bud Hall will be playing this show, backing Tony Booth. Bud owned Bud Hall's Steel Guitar Town for many years in Evansville IN, was one of the original ZB dealers, was a close friend to both Zane Beck and Tom Brumley, and has been one of the leading proponents of steel guitar based music for nearly 6 decades.

Country Legend Tony Booth Returns to The Brubeck on Thursday, October 10 @ 7pm. Tickets go on sale at 11am this morning. Going to be a great show in Mt Vernon IL this year!

Also performing this year on Friday and Saturday will be steel guitar legend Cowboy Eddie Long. He was the longtime steel guitarist for Hank Williams Jr and is currently with Jamey Johnson. He will perform his own shows and also work with Ron Williams.

No need to drive far away for a great weekend of traditional Country music. It’s going to happen right here in southern IL. This is the first of two Mel Tillis Jr shows in southern IL the weekend of Nov 4-5. This one in Newton IL is a dance. The second I’ll post in a couple days. I’ll be performing in both shows. Motels available in Newton, Olney and Mt Carmel!
The great Mike Sweeney will be performing on Pedal Steel Guitar with The Memory Makers.

NEWS FLASH!!!!

Country legends Tony Booth (Keys in the Mailbox) and Dottsy (Play Born to Lose Again and I'll be Your San Antone Rose), both featured daily on SIRIUS XM's Willie's Roadhouse, are coming to southeast Illinois on Friday July 28. They will be in Mt Carmel IL at The Brubeck Theatre, on the campus of Wabash Valley College, as a part of the "Instructor Performance" of the Wabash Valley College Music Camp. Show is 6:30-8pm. Campers will be admitted free, all others will be only $10 admission at the door.

This is a going to be a great show and will also support future Wabash Valley College Music Camps. Let's help out future generations of musicians in southeast Illinois. Also, there will be two camp instructors in the show, Dennis Stroughmatt will be playing fiddle and Virgil Franklin, from Linton IN, will be on Pedal Steel.

Admission is $10 at the door! WVC is located at 2200 College Drive in Mt Carmel IL.
