A weekly open mic night as a forum for artists aspiring to become singer/songwriters of all levels and abilities. Consisting of local and national acts, each performer will have ten minutes (2 song minimum) when they take the stage. A prize will be awarded to a selected act each night.
DETAILS AND RULES
Players may only be signed up for one future Tuesday time slot at a time. After you have per
formed your scheduled Open Mic time, you may sign up for another. After signing up, make sure you let all of your friends, family & fans know you will be performing so they can come on out and support you!
1. Have a blast and bring your friends.
2. We prefer you to play and/or sing. If you are looping, it better be good. No backing tracks allowed.
3. Vocal mics, and direct input plugs for guitars & keyboards, are provided.
4. Solos and duos preferred.
5. Artists must check in with open mic host by 6:45 pm. Sign up at www.walkthebeatalbion.org. Email [email protected] if you have any difficulty with the site.
THE REWARD
A Stirling Books and Brew Gift Certificate will be awarded each night to one of the performers. Performers will be considered for booking at other local establishments.
