Thank you to all our volunteers and presenters who made the 2026 Orleans County Conservation Field Days a success! The weather was perfect on Tuesday and Wednesday and we are so grateful for our community partners who generously share their time and knowledge with 6th graders from all across Orleans County! This year's educational stations featured:
Orleans County CCE Master Gardeners, Orleans County Health Department, Mike Elam of the Orleans County Federation of Sportsmans Clubs, CCE Orleans, Orleans County Sheriff's Department, NYS Department of Public Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge), NYSDEC Division of Law Enforcement, Orleans County 4-H Dog Program, Braddock Bay Raptors, NYSDEC Reinstein Woods Environmental Education Center, Bergen Swamp Preservation Society, NYS Parks - Hamlin Beach and Lakeside State Parks, Orleans County Soil and Water, The Army Corps of Engineers (Mt. Morris Dam) and Once Upon A Farm, Holley, NY (local Maple Syrup)!!! Huge thanks also to our CCE Orleans volunteers who helped prepare lunch both days for our guides and presenters (with funds provided by the Orleans County Federation of Sportsmans Clubs) and Gary Watts who manned our First Aid Station both days!!

Reminder all entries must be completed online and due by midnight on Sunday 5/31/2026

If you are unable to attend and need assistance, please contact the office at 585-798-4265 or [email protected] by Friday 5/29 close of business for assistance.

There will be no exceptions.

Thank you so much to NYS Senator Rob Ortt and his staff for welcoming our Orleans and Niagara County delegations to NYS 4-H Capital Days in Albany this morning!! We appreciate your strong support of 4-H Positive Youth Development!! The Orleans 4-H delegation also enjoyed making some new friends at the NYS Museum before heading home from Albany today!!
