King Opera House

King Opera House The King Opera House is located downtown in the historic Albia Square. It houses many live Community Events, ACHS events, Entertainment, and Movies.

Movie ticket prices $5.00 for 4yrs-adult; FREE 3 and under. Live events prices vary but usually $4-$10 a ticket depending on the event. Building rental is $75 per hour.

Greetings from KOH 🙂! We are happy to share the good news that the ceiling renovation under the balcony is complete. Thank you to Askland Brothers, LLC for their terrific work...it was quite a job! We also thank our patrons for your patience during the shut down. KOH will resume movies the weekend of June 19-21 when we open Toy Story 5...very exciting opportunity provided by Suzanne Clark Sprecher 🙂! Check it out...

Our new movie screen is being installed as we speak. We want to take a moment to give a huge thank you to Ethan Askland, Wes Aeschliman, Jeremy Wright, Dave Paxton, Russ Parker, Klint Sinclair, Cael Schofield, and Strong Technologies crew for giving up a few hours to help us unload the 34ft-1000pound one piece screen into the King Opera House.
