Tomorrow, Aggie Theatre students will participate in Alabama’s first ever high school musical theatre awards ceremony: The Tallulah Awards.

4 of our students, Braedon Burke, Malea Glaze, Naomi Saturno, and Aliza King, will be performing in the opening number along side 50ish other students from area schools. Today they rehearsed with the other student performers and adult professionals at the VBC in Huntsville.

All of Aggie Theatre will be attending tomorrow’s red carpet event in style- dressed in our best Broadway Glam!

Thank you Kip Driver and all of Broadway Theatre League of Huntsville for creating this wonderful opportunity for our area’s high school students!

🤯This is the largest cast & crew for the competition one act that Aggie Theatre has ever had. We have a cast/crew of close to 40!!

🤩WOW!!! It’s amazing how Aggie Theatre has grown in 3 short years!

This casting was the absolute hardest decision our directors have had to make. Every student did PHENOMENAL. We went through close to 10 versions of the cast list!

Please congratulate the 2026 Trumbauer competition cast & crew!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

🎭We can not wait to get to work on this original play written by our good friend and professional playwright Mr. Chayton Pabich!

⭐️Summary⭐️
In the foothills of northern Alabama, Billy Miles and Diana Sarver gather a group of local ghost hunters in the woods on the banks of the Tennessee River. They want to contact Captain William Henry Miles, a river pirate who, according to local legend, slew the hideous river monster, Raw Meat & Bloody Bones in the 1860s. When the ghost hunters make contact with the past, contradictions emerge across three generations. Billy and Diana must confront the weight of inherited moral responsibility, unpack generational lies, and learn to carry uncomfortable truths. All while discovering Raw Meat & Bloody Bones might still be alive and searching for vengeance.
