The nerves are hitting, the stage is set, the props are in place, the soundboard is turned on, the lights are warm, the energy is picking up, the scripts are getting on last glance, the make up brushes are clean, all the superstitions are being done. That can only mean on thing. ITS OPENING NIGHT!!!!!!! Father of the Bride opens tonight. Get your tickets online or in person at our box office!

It's a big few weeks here at the theater. We have the opening of Father of the Bride April 23, 24, 25, 26(M), 29, 30, May 1, & 2(M)! Then next Monday the 27th and Tuesday the 28th at 7:00pm are auditions for our next production the popular My Fair Lady! Come join us for a night of entertainment and don't forget to grab a great dinner and drink down the street with our friends at Cento!!!

Not even a severe storm/tornado warning can stop the cast of Father of the Bride from rehearsals. We just moved rehearsal to one of the dressing rooms in the basement when the siren went off.

We are very excited to be in our fourth season of theatre camp at ACT. This year we are
presenting Storybook Court Full of Beans by Tracy Wells. Although the characters are
from children’s stories the theme is fairly mature in nature. It is a courtroom setting
where they try Jack for the assets he took from the giant’s home. We believe both the
children and the audience will find the characters to be amusing. Camp is for students
age 8-13 and will be held on the week of July 6 through July 10. New this year we are
breaking into two sessions. There will be a morning session from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
and an afternoon session from 12.30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Also new this year we will be putting
on two performances each. The morning session will perform at 5.30 p.m. on July 10
and at 9 a.m. on July 11. The afternoon session will perform at 7.30 p.m. on July 10 and
at 11 a.m. on July 11. As there are now four performances in place of one we encourage
the public to come and support the children. They are the ones that requested to
perform more than once and we would like to see community support for the students.
Auditions are mandatory this year. They not only give us a chance to see how the
students perform, they also give the students a chance to tell us what type of a role they
would like. Some like larger roles, some like smaller roles, some are extremely good
with their facial expressions. We strive to make it a very positive experience for all of the
student
