🌊☀️ The wait is almost over! The Albert Lea Aquatic Center will officially open for the season on Thursday, June 11!

When you visit this summer, you'll notice a few exciting updates around the facility, including improvements to our locker areas and a refreshed attendant office. We're excited to welcome everyone back and can't wait for a fun-filled summer at the pool!

Grab your swimsuits, sunscreen, and friends, and join us as we kick off another great season of swimming, splashing, and making memories.

SIGN UP TODAY: Grade-schoolers can take a free field trip to the Aquatic Center from neighborhood parks on Friday, June 26! Buses will pick up kids at the following times and places:
Sondgeraard Park at noon
Valley Park at 12:15 p.m.
Lakeview Park at 12:30 p.m.
Academy Park participants will walk together to Frank Hall Park.

Buses will leave the center at 4 p.m. to return participants to their respective parks.

Open to kids who have finished grades K - 5.

They MUST pre-register and ride the bus for free entry.

What to pack?
Lunch
Swimsuit and towel
Sunscreen
Money for snacks

DIVE INTO FUN AT THE AQUATIC CENTER! Get ready to make a splash! The Aquatic Center is opening its doors on Thursday, June 11 (if Mother Nature decides to be nice) at 321 James Ave. Whether you're a water slide enthusiast or just love to soak up the sun, we've got something for everyone!

Hours:
Monday - Friday: 1 - 5 p.m. and 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 1 - 7 p.m.

Grab your swimsuits and sunscreen, and come join us for a splashing good time! Don't forget to tag your friends and plan your visit to dive into fun at the Aquatic Center!

Get ready for weekly adventures, awesome activities, and heaps of fun! Freeborn County 4-H is taking over the Neighborhood Park buildings, and you won’t want to miss out.

Catch the 4-H crew at these specific spots:
Tuesdays
Academy Park: 10–11 a.m.
Lakeview Park: noon–1 p.m.
Valley Park: 2–3 p.m.

Thursdays
Sondergaard Park: 10–11 a.m.

The parks host action-packed activities Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. all the way through July 30! Come hang out!
