Great seeing some history from the Arts Council's past shared today by the Stanly County History Center!

Looks like the weather tomorrow (Saturday) might not be so great. But it will be perfect weather to stop by the Stanly Arts Guild Gallery and spend some time being a small part of something really big for our community!

Bring the family or a group of friends to share in a painting experience creating a tile to be placed as a part of a community mural celebrating America's 250 anniversary.

Sponsored by the America 250 NC Stanly County committee and hosted by the Stanly Arts Guild, each tile will come with paint and supplies. And there will also be someone present ready to give guidance and any help needed.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to join with others in celebrating both America and local arts!
