Something exciting is happening at the newly remodeled and rebranded OL Doghouse!

✨ A NEW NAME IS COMING SOON… AND THAT’S JUST THE BEGINNING! ✨

We’ve completely remodeled, business has already picked up tremendously, and we’re getting ready for an exciting new chapter. Our outdoor stage will be completed soon, and we’ll be bringing in LIVE MUSIC, along with even more events!

The 2nd Annual Uwharrie Bigfoot Festival takes place Labor Day Weekend, September 4-6, 2026, at Camp John J. Barnhardt in New London, North Carolina. Last year’s inaugural festival was a huge success, and we’re working hard to make this year’s event even bigger and better!

This is a HUGE event for Stanly County, Albemarle, Badin, and the surrounding communities. Thousands of visitors are expected over Labor Day Weekend, bringing business to local hotels, restaurants, gas stations, shops, and other small businesses while showcasing everything our area has to offer.

* The crowd-favorite Floating Squatch
* Professional wood carving artists creating incredible chainsaw carvings throughout the weekend

* Sasquatch Monster Truck rides
* Zip lining

* Bounce house
* Dunk tank
* Large food court featuring a variety of food and beverage vendors

🚙 North Carolina Bronco Show

We’re also excited to host the North Carolina Bronco Show on Saturday, September 5, inside the festival!

Bronco Show Schedule
• Pre-registration online is REQUIRED.
• No registrations will be accepted the day of the event.
• Check-in: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
• Show Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Awards Ceremony: 3:00 PM
• Multiple award classes for all generations of Broncos.
• Registration is $30 (plus tax & fees).
• Festival admission is also required.
• The NC Bronco Club will be offering guided trail rides on Saturday and Sunday for registered participants.

🎟️ Festival Admission (Beginning August 2)

* Adults: $20 per day
* Weekend Pass: $40 (all three days for the price of two)
* Kids 10 & Under: $10
* Children 4 & Under: FREE

🚌 FREE Saturday Shuttle Service

To make parking easier, we’ve added an overflow parking lot in the Town of Badin, next to the Sunoco.

A FREE shuttle will transport guests directly to the festival entrance and back to the parking lot.
