Albany Barn: Friday, June 5th 5PM-8PM
Address: 56 2nd Street, Albany, NY 12210
Parking: Street parking is free and mostly non-limited on the streets around the building, please read all signs before parking.

Artistry Studios: Thursday, June 18th 5PM-8PM
Address: 826 ½ Eastern Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12307
Parking: There is a small parking lot in front of Artistry Studios with free street parking available. Street parking is free and mostly non-limited on the streets around the building, please read all signs before parking.

Electric City Barn: Saturday, June 27th 12PM-4PM
Address: 400 Craig Street, Schenectady, NY 12307
Parking: The Parking Lot across the street from Electric City Barn is available for parking but please park closest to Craig Street first, then towards Emmett Street, and never blocking the garage, driveway or the entrance. Street parking is also available for Electric City Barn members and visitors. Street parking is free and mostly non-limited on the streets around the building, please read all signs before parking. The lots on the sides of the building are for Hillside View residents only–unless using handicap parking with the proper tags. Violators are at risk of being towed.

Graduation season makes me feel so nostalgic! Throwback to when I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology 🎓

My old caption: "After 5 years at RIT, 4 orientations, 3 campus jobs, and 2 published books, I finally got 1 degree."

If I could talk to Graduating Kiki in 2022, I would tell her the following:

A) Stop comparing yourself to 20 year old millionaires PLZ

B) The Animation industry will collapse and you won't be able to find a job, BUT you are blessed to live in a growing art scene

C) You have to choose between working for a business or becoming a business, and it will take a while before you figure out the right choice

D) Your 20s are for trying everything, and, my dear, you will try EVERYTHING lol (we still are!!)

I'm 4 years older than the graduation photo and now recognize the beauty in adversity. It's a blessing to go through hard things and have the opportunity to grow from them. There was no way I could have foresee myself obtaining my LLC a year after graduation, building my fine art work in my hometown, and developing my animation skills through online and in-person mentors who saw something in me.

In whatever episode you are on in your current season, I hope it involves enough reflection to learn from the hard times. May we all grow and blossom into the followers we are meant to be. 🌻
