Thank you Amy for judging our wool and fiber show! 🙌

I can’t even tell you how much I love this job!!! Over 450 fleeces to judge and they are PRISTINE. I am trying SO HARD not to buy about 15 of them that are just too lovely to leave here. Seriously. This is wool Mecca. If you’ve never been to Black Sheep Gathering you should make plans immediately for next year. I couldn’t even get all the wool in the photo.

Still looking for something to do this weekend??
Bring your homespun or other natural colored yarn and weave it into a tiny replica of your prize winning lamb.
This is a great class for teenagers to adults new to peg loom weaving. There's only one student signed up, and Meg has traveled here from Minneasota to teach weaving. She is a wonderful teacher who has written books on pin loom weaving.
Attached is a picture of the finished pieces.
Price is $85 Sunday the 28th 1:30pm-4:30pm

We’re fortunate to have the support of Robinson Ranch as a Silver level sponsor of our event! Robinson Ranch will have a market booth in the sheep show barn with roving, yarn, and more- be sure to stop by and see their beautiful farm products this weekend!

The Black Sheep Gathering 2026 is coming right up- June 26-28 at the Linn Co fairgrounds in Albany, OR!
