We are a new small event venue located in Albany, La one turn off of Highway 190. We would love to have you enjoy our charming venue for your next birthday party, wedding or baby shower, Holiday get together, small wedding and even great place for picture backdrops for any occasion. We are a small family owned farm on 10 rolling acres with access to two ponds, a garden, an orchard, and chicken coo

p. Our venue accommodates 50 guests and we have lodgings for up to 10 guests. We have a beautiful pavilion and a farmhouse dining room for you to enjoy. Coming in October we will be offering Christian Mindfulness Retreats led by a Licensed Professional Counselor. Laura has 25 years experience in the profession of Counseling and is also a Certified Mindfulness Trainer. Rejuvenate and Relax in this lovely setting and learn the skills and tools needed to maintain inner quiet in the hurried and anxious world in which we are living.

For bread like this feed your starter about once a week or more if you’d like🍞
🍞1/4 cup bread flour and 1/4 cup water with your starter in pint jar.
🍞Stir well and let sit out on counter for the day and bubble up.
🍞Store in fridge at night.
🍞At each feeding pour off a little starter into your discard jar - keep that for baking with or if you don’t want to keep feed to your chickens they love it. Just don’t pour it down your drain - drains don’t love it.

This is the starter I ordered to bake with. I’ve had it for four years! I store it in the fridge and it bounces back super bubbly each time I feed it.
