Today we remember our dear friend, Dr. John “Doc” Peterson—physician, musician, peace activist, and a man who dedicated his life to caring for others and working toward a more compassionate world.

Doc believed that music, medicine, and kindness could all be powerful forces for healing. Those who knew him will remember not only his accomplishments, but his generosity, curiosity, and unwavering belief in humanity’s capacity for peace.

Our hearts are with his family and all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

For those who may be seeing reports of Dr. John “Doc” Peterson’s passing and wondering, this post is about “Doc.” John Peterson the potter is doing well and sends his love to everyone.

Thank you for everything. Rest in peace, Doc.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the John Peterson Pottery Springs Show & Sale!

What a joy it was to spend time with old friends and new, admire the incredible pottery created by John and his talented students, and celebrate the arts together.

The community spirit this weekend was amazing. From the conversations and laughter to the appreciation for handmade craftsmanship, it reminded us how special it is when people come together to support creativity and one another.

Thank you for being part of it and helping make the event such a wonderful success!
