Hello everyone!! I have missed you and I’m happy to be back and active on this page😊🎨
First a little background — Make Your Mark was born from my love of teaching art and wanting to share that love with others. Experiencing the creative process is something that fascinates me and I love the critical thinking and problem solving aspects that go along with it🙌 So, I began teaching painting classes several years ago and loved every single second I spent with all of you! Watching painters take risks, build confidence, and smile while spending time with each other was/is priceless!! However, life and my career (public school administration) took me on a path that hasn’t allowed much time for teaching art classes. During my time “away” I have experienced wonderful opportunities, spent time with my family, welcomed a beautiful granddaughter🩷 (btw - I have a new grandbaby 🙌 on the way - May 2026), advanced my career, traveled, learned how to sew❤️(fabric collecting is my fave), started scrapbooking again, gained a wonderful daughter-in-love, and continued to advocate for the arts and personal expression. Lately, my greatest passion and one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey has been creating beautiful, personalized quilts for my family and for others. My sewing room has become my daily stress relief and comfortable retreat😊 I hope to offer classes again soon, but for now, I can’t wait to share my creations with you and hope you will share yours with me, too 🎨✨🪡 ✨🧵✨📸
