ARTfest 2025 is Sept. 13 from 2-6 PM on San Juan Avenue in Downtown Alamosa. Alamosa Creates is also working to gain Creative District designation for our city.

Get ready for June’s FFirst Fridays with Visit Alamosa Singing Sands of Summer! Alamosa Creates is the cosponsor, and we are kicking off the season on June 5th at 5 PM!
We are packing the night with 40+ incredible vendors, meaning there is officially something for everyone! DREAMSCAPES LOUNGE: FUTURE TOWN 2045 (Alamosa, CO, June-Dec 2026)

Warm Cookies of the Revolution is putting out a BIG Call for Artists, in collaboration with many program partners in Alamosa and across the San Luis Valley. This Call is open to all artists who live in or have deep roots in Colorado or New Mexico. This is a multimedia and multidisciplinary arts exhibition that will open across four unique sites in downtown Alamosa. Additional exhibition sites will pop up late summer / early fall. There is a wide range of futurist themes at play, including humanity, technology, sustainability, culture, identity, land, water, nature, healing, infrastructure, and design. Spread this far and wide to artists across creative forms, styles and disciplines.

The D Mountain Park & Recreation District has issued an RFP for a mural focused on the rich history of local foods and the contemporary “food is medicine” movement.

“The mural will celebrate our Indigenous heritage, sustainable agricultural practices, community gardens, and the enduring relationship between people and place,” according to the request for proposals.
