This is a double cover up tattoo. My client had gotten the original (barbed wire heart) from another tattoo shop in town and wasn’t happy with it so she went to a second tattoo shop also here in town and the shop owner did the green and red “cover up” over the heart which quite obviously didn’t work out. Needless to say, she felt awful about it. When she came to me and told me her story and showed me the terrible work she had received from the other two tattoo shops, I had to agree to help out. Her third tattoo on this spot. I used a marker to draw over the old tattoos and added some background. She was thrilled with the result as was I. Thank you! Please choose your tattoo artist wisely.
