RARE BEER ALERT: Get your weekend started with 10 oz of deliciousness you’ll definitely want to try before it’s gone.

In case you missed it, we tapped Bottle Logic’s Fundamental Observation for our 1st anniversary last weekend, and this is one big beer that’s the perfect for getting your weekend started.

Coming in at 13.7%, Fundamental Observation is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Madagascar Vanilla Stout, and we’ve received one of most two kegs sent up to Northern California.

Bottle Logic’s description: This year’s batch reexamines the relationship between bourbon barrel character and Madagascar vanilla with one of the most expressive vanilla profiles. Conditioned on 140 pounds of Madagascar vanilla beans and meticulously blended from carefully aged bourbon barrels, this year’s vintage opens with rich aromas of vanilla and oak, followed by dark chocolate, bourbon sweetness, and warming baking spice.

Like we said, we have one of two kegs, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. Make a point to try a pour this weekend before it is!

It’s the last day of our birthday party! Come celebrate with us all day long, starting today at 10:30 AM. 🥳

Southie Alameda will be offering breakfast 10:30 AM-2 PM with some fun breakfast special, so you can get your Sunday started out on the patio. 🍳

Throughout the entire day, a portion of proceeds will be donated to Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS), so today’s beers aren’t just for you, they’re for the dogs and cats of our neighborhood that are in need of a loving home. 🐶 🐱

We hope you’ll come out once more and help us raise funds for this worthy cause, and we hope to see your pups with you, too! 🐕

Day One of our 1st Anniversary Party is TODAY! Join us for some exciting events, including a tap takeover with Laughing Monk Brewing and Eel River Brewing Company - World’s Finest Organic Brewery and live music with The Flinns!

The fun starts at 5 PM, with reps from Laughing Monk and Eel River joining us to celebrate the release of their collab beer “Admiral Thomsen and The Laughing Eels,” a Pale Ale made with malt from Alameda’s very own Admiral Maltings!

Additional beers on tap will include:

• Laughing Monk “Brother Jay” (Hazy IPA with hop terpenes)
• Laughing Monk “Master Bruce” (Hazy Double IPA)
• Laughing Monk Kolsch
• Eel River IPA
• Eel River Amber

Brewery representatives will be giving away some fun swag items while they’re here, and while supplies last, so make sure to come early to get in on the action!

The fund doesn’t stop there! Texas Americana and Country music duo The Flinns will be performing shortly after from 5:30-8:30 PM, bringing a rare Thursday night of music to Park Station.

It’s going to be an action packed evening of fun, and the party is just getting started! We hope to celebrate with you tonight and all weekend long 🍻
