Nationally known watercolor artist, Geoff Allen did our watercolor demo last year during the Frank Bette Paintout exhibit at Alameda South Shore Center. We were very impressed with his teaching skills so we asked him to teach a workshop Aug 2&3 following our Frank Bette Center for the Arts Plein air paintout

Through a series of exercises and Geoff Allen's step by steps demonstrations, the class will practice seeing value, connecting shape, and capturing light and shadow.

IAA AWARDED A GRANT:
The IAA Board of Directors has received a 2018 Public Art grant from the City of Alameda to help us host the Alameda Second Friday Artwalk events in 2019. Very exciting!
