We’re proud to call the San Francisco Bay Area home – a place where DEI isn’t just a value, it’s a way of life. 

According to the Harvard Business Review, “Diverse teams are smarter.”

Thanks to our friends at , we got to prove this through fun and gameplay, when we facilitated a trivia show that celebrated both diversity of knowledge and culture for a large, Bay Area software company.

For this custom, team bonding experience, employees were encouraged to team up and answer global trivia questions.

Teams experienced first-hand the value of having a wide scope of voices and saw for themselves that, the more culturally diverse their team was, the more questions they were able to answer correctly.

What we love most about our community: the hugs that feel like home, the laughter between sessions, the quiet check-ins, and the shared understanding of what it really takes to bring people together in a meaningful way.

This year felt even more special here in the Bay Area, where we celebrated our own Bay Area Meetings Industry Day (BAMID) on Earth Day, honoring not just connection, but a collective commitment to sustainability and the future of our industry. 🌿

There’s something special about standing at the top of Nob Hill and feeling San Francisco’s history all around you.

We felt it in spades when we recently visited the iconic InterContinental Mark Hopkins, and the property’s wonderful, knowledgeable Group Sales Manager, Lavon Nguyen. 

There’s nothing like a grand tour to be reminded how this San Francisco landmark blends old‑world charm with modern renovations.

We saw firsthand that its 383 elegant guest rooms and 19 flexible event spaces are built to host both elegant business gatherings and luxury leisure stays.

Of course, the Top of the Mark still steals the show. The 360 degree panoramic views… the cocktails… the service. Just AMAZING.

The Mission Bay district is exploding and all abuzz with the latest that San Francisco has to offer and is at the center of it. 

Our events industry friend Michelle Aceves gave us an amazing tour recently.

From its 299 modern sleeping rooms, the stunning views of Cavaña rooftop bar, to the flexible Gather event floor, every corner felt artful and boldly executed.

Michelle knows this property inside and out, and hearing how the hotel hosts everything from polished conferences to celebrations for up to 230 guests, definitely lit up our creative brains. 

Let’s just say, we left feeling inspired and illuminated.

We started off the year experimenting with AI to create video content for a custom keynote. The process proved to be chaotic and surprising but most of all, hilarious. 

We laughed so much at the AI generated content that we decided to create a parody video to give you a laugh too.
