Ahhhh...the power of music!

Our Decompression Chamber series visited Akron Public Schools' I Promise School today. The talented trio of Paul Miahky, David Kempers and Sarah Husak (also part of Akron Symphony Orchestra) performed during the school's instructional improvement day for teachers.

With generous support from Knight Foundation, GAR Foundation and many others, we're sharing free chamber music concerts at stressful workplaces and other venues throughout Greater Akron.

To our friends at I Promise School and the LeBron James Family Foundation: Thank you for all that you do in our community!

Voces8 made musical magic here this week!

On Monday, the famed British vocal octet taught this fabulous masterclass for students at The University of Akron School of Music.

On Tuesday, they shared their talents with students and teachers at Coventry High School and then thrilled the full-house audience for our season-opening concert at E.J. Thomas Hall at the University of Akron. Two UA choirs, under the direction of Professor Marie Bucoy-Calavan, joined VOICES8 on stage for two pieces. Judging from the applause and standing ovations, the audience loved every minute!
