Today we headed back down to Reykjavik so it was largely a travel day and falling asleep on the bus against my will. But we stopped by a local search and rescue team to learn about their work. Then we climbed a gosh darn volcano, Grabrok, to be in its crater. And then the beautiful Glanni waterfall. Now I’m gonna sleep and get ready for the last full day here tomorrow.

Northern Iceland water adventure day! First off the herring era museum. Then off to a fish processing factory to meet a 5th generation fishing family and try hakarl. Gross. Then whale watching and we saw a humpback!!! 🐋 and to top off the day we ran into the cold North Atlantic before jumping in some geothermal hot tubs. All was right with the world.

I’ve fallen behind on posting but I’ll make it up to you. So once in the north, we saw like all the weird stuff earth does. Godafoss waterfall. Lake Myvatn’s craters. Places where the continents come together. Boiling buttholes. Crazy lava rock formations at Dimmuborger.

Thanks, Reykjavik! I’ll see you again in a few days. But first, time to head to the north…well further north.

Ok, I have a problem posting when I’m working a lot. So when I disappear…it’s usually bc I’m in hyperdrive. Anyways, I’ve been working on some weird stuff just for ! I’ll be at my usual location at Carol and John’s Comic Book Shop! It’ll be a blast as usual!!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the raffle!! We raised $106 for KIND and I’m so thrilled. I put all the entries into a wheel tonight and congrats, Dana!!! I’ll be adding a little bit of my own money to cause and I’m so excited that together we could make a little ball of wool into something to help some kids!
