Professional Equity Theater, in operation from 1999 thru 2016. Actors' Summit Theater recently closed. Originally incorporated in 1998, produced it's first show in April of 1999.
The theater produced over 140 shows in it's 17 seasons, hiring over 700 local professional and Equity actors. The theater moved it's location 11 times in 17 seasons.

Dear Friends and former Board members @Actors' Summit Theater and supporters, Weathervane Playhouse supporters, Coach House Theatre supporters, and Magical Theatre Company, as well as The University of Akron School of Music (Jazz Program) supporters-- Roland Paolucci, @Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Artistic Director Emeritus, is quite ill at Akron City Hospital. please check Marci Paolucci's page for updates. keep him in your thoughts and prayers; this has been several very difficult weeks for Marci and Roland. The news is not good.
Roland had been one of our musical directors and arranger during our Hudson years. Marci appeared in several of our shows during that time. Love-- light---prayers and peace .

Ohio Shakespeare Festival will become a company that operates year-round by Oct. 1, once it takes over the theater space at Greystone Hall that was previously the home of Actors’ Summit.

Kerstin Vaughn is stage Managing Tintypes for us; she's one of those many, many "behind the scenes" talents, that help us make our ON STAGE magic. She's also an actor---in keeping with the best theatre traditions; and a University of Mt. Union theatre and music major. She'll be appearing in "Shakespeare at the Castle" , in Alliance later this summer.
