Crafternoons now have a Craft Cart!! big thanks to the random guy on facebook marketplace and to a day of hard work getting all the rust off and repainting! We now have the cutest way to wheel out available supplies for all of you to borrow at Crafternoon 🎨💕

See you tomorrow, next month, or the month after! Because Crafternoon is monthly every third Saturday! You can bring your current project or just bring yourself! we have some assorted supplies available too. From 12pm-2pm, drop in for a craft! Located 3rd floor of Summit Artspace

Craft Destash Bash was a huge success 💜♻️

Thank you for helping us keep creative supplies in use and out of landfills while getting materials back into the hands of artists, teachers, families, and kids in our community. A huge thank you to for allowing the use of their loading dock for this event!

Here’s a look at the impact from this weekend:

✨ 120 attendees
✨ 63 donation drop-offs
✨ 8 amazing volunteers
✨ A single donation of 43 U-Haul boxes plus multiple wheeled carts that contributed to the majority of supplies we had available!
✨ Countless creative materials rehomed sparking inspiration for tons of new creative projects!

We saw paints, yarn, fabric, scrapbooking supplies, kids crafts, frames, art books, specialty tools, and so many unexpected treasures find new homes. Some items disappeared almost immediately, including a Cricut machine, vintage tools, and unique specialty materials. We were even donated a vintage ocular eye kit, and less than a half hour later someone found it who had apparently been searching for one for years!

One of our favorite parts of this event is seeing “random” items become someone else’s perfect find.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, attended, shared posts, carried boxes, helped clean up, and supported creative reuse in our community. We genuinely could not do this without you.

I cant believe its all FREE! and you guys just have to show up and like.. take it, and its not stealing! I didnt even take a picture of everything here! 🎨🧶🖼 and we'll be getting more donations on Saturday too! I really hope you guys are showing up so we dont have to store anything afterwards 😭 We have some chairs out for people to sit and sort through things ~ boxes above and below tables with goodies.

Accessible entrance through front of building. You can pull your car right up to loading dock if you have alot of donations! We have volunteers who will help sort out incoming donations, it'll be crazy and fun! it's a bash!

Craft Destash Bash this Saturday! May 9th from 12pm-5pm bring your donations, bring your friends, bring your mom, bring a teacher, bring an artist, bring a cat picture just cuz I wanna see them - and bring a bag or box for your stuff!!!
