Highlights and behind-the-scenes of 11 years running ART x LOVE as creative entrepreneurs. We work SO DAMN HARD at this because the freedom, impact, and change we get to be a part of is worth it.

Our clients trust us with unique, forward-thinking, and important projects. We’ve earned that trust by consistently delivering outstanding work with an inclusive experience for clients, communities, and artists alike.

When people say “You’re always doing something,” we tend to laugh. Don’t you have bills too? This is our full-time job. Mac is always working because WE HAVE TO. Allyse is always managing projects and operations because WE HAVE TO. Being a creative entrepreneur is no joke, and it takes everything you’ve got (and then some) to build a sustainable business.

❄️This year’s Smells Like Snow Coffee Festival kicks off with a special art exhibit featuring the work of Gilmore Girls creatives Valerie Campbell Valerie Campbell, John Cabrera John Cabrera, and Keiko Agena keikoagena at ART x LOVE’s Forever Changes gallery in downtown Akron.

You’re invited to join us for a free artists’ reception on Friday, November 6, from 6-8pm, to meet Valerie and John and learn more about their work. Space is limited, so please visit our website to RSVP on Eventbrite.

Mac’s live painting “Akron Aspires” was completed in 45 minutes for Akron Life Magazine’s Best of the City celebration at House Three Thirty.

“I designed this piece as a trophy to the community, composed of iconic Akron landmarks like the Akron Art Museum, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Akron/Summit CVB, Akron Beacon Journal, BLU-Tique Hotel, and Akron Stories Rubber Worker Statue. I honestly didn’t know if I could complete it in time, but that’s often the point and part of the thrill of doing these,” says Mac.

We were engaged to produce this live experience long before learning we had won for Best Gallery and Best Artist. That made the experience all the more special, particular since this year’s voting rules were changed to only allow one vote per person, making all of the winners a true people’s choice. Thank you all for your vote! 🙌

The Copley Heritage Days collaborative mural is a wrap! Thanks to everyone for joining us this summer and lending your creative spark to this special celebration of Copley Township 🎉

More than 100 people made their mark on this collaborative mural, which was designed and completed by ART x LOVE, who worked to preserve everyone’s marks. Check it out the finished work of art at Copley Township Hall!
