Twisted Coincidence

Twisted Coincidence This page is to show people my love of the art of Glass Blowing. How it is done and the pieces that come out of a very hot and intense process. Bradley Tubbs

My Raw Materials include tubes and rods of borosilicate glass. The designs are created using colored rods and fuming. Fuming is the process of burning gold and silver into the flame. The glass is heated to the melting point of 1300 -2500 F and manipulated in the flame. The finished piece is placed in a kiln at 1500 for about an hour and slowly cooled to cure it. The entire process is extremely hot and very intense. One reason why I love doing it.
