I love this kitchen.
There’s a warmth to it, a subtle vitality that makes you want to pull up a stool and stay awhile.

I still remember the tomato pie Michele made for us on the day of the shoot.
At nine months pregnant, it may have been the best thing I’ve ever tasted.

We sat, talked, and shared a quick meal as light streamed in through the wall of windows.
I felt so welcome. At home, even.

Should you hire a stylist for your shoot?
Sometimes. Not always.

From behind the lens, a professional stylist can bring clarity and cohesion — especially for projects headed to publication or meant to live long-term in a portfolio. They help shape visual flow, refine details, and elevate a space in subtle but meaningful ways.

For smaller projects or social content, designer-led styling can be just as successful, especially when the vision is clear and the details are intentional.

The best images aren’t about perfection. They’re about knowing what you want the space to say — and choosing the level of support that helps you say it well.
