All the pretty polish in the world won’t fix poor nail structure.
Look closely at this nail. It’s heavy near the cuticle, there’s no real apex, and the product simply follows the natural nail downward before tapering into a thin free edge.
Why does that matter?
The bulk near the cuticle is going to make the grow-out much more noticeable. Without proper structure through the stress area, the nail isn’t getting the support it needs. And when the product gets too thin toward the free edge, you’re much more likely to see chipping, cracking and breaks, especially around the growth points.
A beautiful gel manicure isn’t just about pretty color or nail art.
Structure matters.
The goal is a nail that looks thin and natural while still putting strength exactly where the nail needs it. That’s the difference between simply covering a nail with gel and actually building a properly structured nail. This is the difference in picking a tech the “does” hard gel, and a tech that understands how to properly build a precision gel manicure.
