“Dance Explosion has been such a positive part of our daughter’s life. Aubree absolutely loves going to dance each week, and we’ve seen so much growth in her because of it.

Dance has given her a safe and positive outlet to express herself, build confidence, and learn skills that go far beyond the stage. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and create an environment where kids feel supported while still being challenged to grow.

“My name is Kiara Stevens, and I am the daughter of Susan Stevens. I have been dancing since the age of three, and over the years it has become a true passion and a big part of my identity. After graduate high school, I plan to attend Des Moines Area Community College to study photography and continue growing my photography business.
To Kenna, thank you for being by my side since the very beginning. We started this journey together, and even though were going our separate ways.
I’ll always cherish the memories we made. From long practices to the little moments in between that meant the most. You’ve been more than a teammate, you’ve been a best friend, and you will always have a special place in my heart.
To my mom, thank you for putting me in dance at such a young age and for never missing a moment along the way, Your constant support, encouragement, and sacrifices have meant everything to me. You’ve believed in me even when I doubted myself, and I wouldn’t be where I am today wthout you.
To Kammie, Kaleigh, and Hannah, thank you for not only teaching me technique, but for helping me grow into the dancer and person I am today. You created an environment where I always felt supported, pushed, and safe to be myself. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve poured into me over the years.
To the younger dancers, enjoy every moment because it goes by faster than you think. Keep working hard, believe in yourself, and don’t be afraid to make nistakes, that’s where the growth happens. Dance with your whole heart, and never forget why you started. Also, make sure you get Kammie her McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with ONLY cheese and onions and a large Diet Coke-she will love you forever!

Funke. I have been dancing since / was 3 years old, and it has truly shaped who I am today.
My fellow senior, Kiara Stevens, has been my duet partner for the past 14 years. I am so grateful for the incredible friendship and the
unforgettable memories we ve created together.
A special thank you to my parents for everything-for always supporting my passion for dance and encouraging me to follow my dreams. Kammie and Kaeleigh at Dance Explosion have been more than teachers; they have become family. Thank you for guiding me and for making this journey so meaningful.
To the younger dancers: be true to yourself, shine bright, smile, and most importantly, have fun. And when you’re older-never let Kammie pick out your dance costumes.
