I am still alive. I saw that Hoax #1 costs $100 and #'s 2-4 are going for $50 a piece on Amazon. I gave up the passion for creating comix after an injury. A vericocele explosion forced me to use Ma*****na because of the tremendous amount of gnad pain I was in all the time. That drug took away my drive.
The title for our anthology, HOAX, came from Nate Neal. He inspired me to make comix, and it was my idea to create MNP. I discovered that U of M would fund the printing costs and we all jumped into it. We stumped over the name of it for a while. Then Nate finally nailed it. At the time George Bush reigned and it was around the time of the invasion of Iraq. "It's one big 'Hoax!'" he shouted. We published 5 newspapers in one year. They sucked. My ambition again. I did not realize that I had never even created a comic before, let alone Inked.
My new mission is to begin what I call a "SkillCraft" for making comics. It will be similar to the way EC used to do it, where they all would just draw, ink or write, and if they couldn't nail a drawing they just passed the page to the next artist. A factory line. That is my news for now.
Thank You,

post script: I began works for Hoax #5 and Josh Simmons even sent me a 5 pager, but we were not selling enough to continue.
