Our initial registration window is closed, so any further registrations will go on the waitlist! We ended up with 280 registrations between August 17-30, and are running a lottery for the 260 available spots at camp.

A reminder of our upcoming timeline: We’ll be in touch via email about results of the lottery and will notify people by September 14. Payment will be due by September 29. Anyone who isn’t chosen in the lottery, or who applies after August 30, will be placed on a waiting list. All registration will close two weeks before camp, on December 13. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we figure out this new process!

Registration is still open but closes on August 30th! Please go to the registration page on the website to register yourself and your group today, if you haven’t already. Lots of details about camp (staff, draft schedule, scholarships info) can be found on our website.

We will keep registration open through August 30th, but then we will (temporarily) close it while we assess what we need to do next. Anyone who registers after we re-open registration in September will be put on the waiting list behind August registrations. Please make sure that everyone in your group registers by 11:59pm ET on August 30!

Registration opens TODAY! Remember to sign up with the group of people you want to enter the lottery with. We’ll keep you posted on how many registrations we get and if it’s looking likely that we’ll need to run a lottery. Register anytime between now and August 30 to be entered into the lottery. Anyone who registers after August 30 will be added to the waitlist.

Registration opens next week!!!

There are two important differences between camp this year and previous years:
- Powell Hall (i.e., the dorm) is completely closed and will not be available for us to use. As a result, we are offering a find-your-own housing option (called the offsite rate).
- Because of the high level of interest in camp, we may need to run a lottery if the number of people that register for camp exceed space limitations at Claggett.

Here are the most important things you need to know about how to register this year:
1. Decide who will be in your group for camp. This could be your immediate family, a partner, or any people you were planning on coming to camp with. It’s also OK to decide to come to camp by yourself, without a group.
2. Choose one person to be the group contact. Everyone in your group needs to put the same person down as your group contact. The registrar will be reaching out to this person to arrange payment before camp.
3. Decide on your housing preferences. Housing won’t be assigned until after the open registration window ends. If it’s important for your group to stay in the same place, please coordinate with them to make sure you select the same preferences.
4. Make sure that everyone in your group registers during the open registration window (August 17-30). This includes anyone applying for financial aid, a Lloyd Shaw Foundation Scholarship, or a camp job.
Payment will be arranged later, once we confirm a spot for your group.

Once we’ve opened registration, we will link the registration form to the website and send out a reminder.

Registration for Terpsichore 2026-27 opens in ONE MONTH! We are making some changes to our registration process due to your overwhelming interest in coming to camp (yay! and also, change can be hard).

This year, registration will be open for two weeks at the end of August (August 17-30). If more than 260 people apply during that time, we will hold a lottery for registrations in that window. Anyone who doesn’t get in through the lottery or applies after August 30 will go on the waiting list.

If we run a lottery, priority will go to returning children (and their parents/guardians). Make sure to register with your family/group you want to attend camp with, as you’ll be entered into the lottery together.

As always, reach out to us with any questions. The committee is working hard to make this process as fair and transparent as we can. We can’t wait to dance and sing with you this winter!

Thank you again to everyone who participated in our listening sessions, responded to the survey, or otherwise shared with us their thoughts on registration. While there is naturally a diversity of opinions and ideas, a few themes emerged. We heard a lot of thoughtfulness and care for our community, which is heartening and gratifying. A couple more themes are discussed in the email attached, along with the decisions we’ve made for this year with respect to camp capacity and registration. Happy new year! This was another incredible year at Terpsichore’s Holiday. Thanks to everyone (all 230 of you) for bringing your songs, dancing feet, smiles, and stories to join together in community and welcome in 2026. There’s nowhere else we’d rather be than with you!
