It’s hard to put into words how special our JOHNNY concert was at last week. We are so grateful for our incredible cast, the teams that supported us, and the lovely community and new friends who cheered us on! What a perfect way to welcome fall under the moon with some bluegrass and dancin.’ 🍂🍁🎻🌕

Last night was a dream come true. When everything aligns to bring the right team together to create something new and exciting you know that you are on the right path. We are incredibly grateful to and the for providing the space and encouragement and to for his enlightened vision and guidance in this process. Johnny has been in development for a decade but getting to share a revised first act with professional performers and collaborators in Nashville for the first time has reignited our passion. We know BIG things are coming. See you down the road. 🎻

We can’t wait to see you May 31st for a staged reading of the first act of JOHNNY. Link in bio 🫶🏻🎻🌅 ~ Back when it all began—the world, that is—the Lord and the Angel Band played a tune and called creation into being, but when humankind joined the dance, the fiddle player, Lou, stepped in where he wasn’t welcome and got himself kicked out of the band, setting the stage for Johnny Baker and the Devil to face off in a duel that will set the world straight again and herald an age of dancing. Rabbit Room Theatre is proud to be collaborating with Douglas Waterbury-Tieman to develop his musical, Johnny and the Devil’s Box. Join us as we hold a reading of the first act of this new work at North Wind Manor.~
