Today I was supposed to do a couples session… and I did! And honestly, it went pretty smoothly. 😂

Here’s the catch: there were kiddos running around, too.

At some point I realized I was holding my camera in one hand, and a pair of toddler shoes in the other, and I had a little..

“ahhh… THIS is what it’s all about” moment. 🥹

Shoes are being thrown.
Little fits are happening.
Mom is just trying to get her photos — pronto. 😂

Parents are keeping an eye on the kiddos while their session is… well, still in session. 🤣

And you know what?

We’re all just here, in community, trying to make some memories and get some beautiful photos along the way.

So here’s what we’re NOT doing:

• We’re not rushing.
• We’re not stressing over every little thing.
• We’re not getting frustrated when real life happens.

But we ARE:

• Being patient.
• Being kind.
• Laughing through it.
• Having fun.
• And getting those pictures! 🤍

Because couples are real people with real lives — and sometimes that means kids who want to jump into a waterfall, throw their shoes in the water, or make a surprise appearance in Mom and Dad’s photos. 😂🌊

And honestly? I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Give me the real moments, the unexpected laughs, the chaos, and the memories you’ll actually look back on and smile about.

That’s the better version of life. 🤍📸
