It's August, and our students are still busy with gigs. Rising senior Matthew Cook spent early summer at Tibbits Opera House performing as Jared in , and in the ensemble (as well as dance captain) for . He's now at The Carnegie as a swing and dance captain in . Junior MT Cassandra Kurek is currently appearing as Lola/Hot Box Girl/Ensemble in the Renaissance Theatre's production of and serving as the dance captain. Congratulations to All! Grant Bell, BFA '25, and rising senior Belle Fockler share the stage at Tibbits Opera House the next two weekends for the fast-paced spoof of Hitchcock's thriller .

🔎🕵️‍♂️ Introducing the cast of "The 39 Steps" at Tibbits Opera House! This spoof on the 1935 Hitchcock spy thriller, directed by Brenda Sparks, is a fast-paced chaotic comedy featuring only four actors and well over 100 character changes! When a spy turns up dead in Richard Hannay's home, he becomes the target of a mysterious organization and an international manhunt as he tries to unravel the mystery.

Recent MT grad Sydney Mistretta is at Michigan's Tibbits Opera House as Sherrie in 'Rock of Ages,' Squirelles in 'Elephant and Piggie' and was the assistant choreographer for their Kid’s Camp. Back in Ohio at TheatreLab Dayton, junior BA Maggie Arnett performed in their production of 'Spring Awakening.' At Pennsylvania's Servant Stage, senior Kayleigh Jarkowsky was a camp assistant for two productions of 'Mary Poppins Jr.', each rehearsed and performed in 1 week. Ohio Northern University
