Hello friends- I’d like to say that in 2023 when AI came out, I wasn’t aware of the detrimental effects of AI. I created a banner and a profile pic image bc I thought it would be fun and neat. Considering I painted and hand drew all of my art, plus made beadwork, I didn’t even consider it at the time. I never changed it either bc I didn’t realize it was still there bc I had accepted that was my logo and failed to notice after all this time that it was still an AI creation. I’m not going to delete it, I’m just going to upload a new image, that way I can show responsible growth and learning, vs deleting something and pretending I never used AI ever. We grow and learn through honesty. That being said, none of my work has ever been AI generated, just that banner and circular logo from way back when. I have progress photos of all my paintings and drawing anyways. But I felt that would be a worthwhile note to add.

I will also be updating the name of my page from “NDN” to Indigenous. I feel it is now reflective of my years of education and formal/professional effort to be a steward of my heritage.

Again, thank you for your attention to this matter. I had commented under those specific images as well to show my past usage. Chokma’shki! 🪶🩷
