Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out to share some exciting news from Veneficus Productions, our small, family-run theatre company just north of Atlanta. Over the past three years, we have written and produced three original plays—two musicals—and have been fortunate to build a following for our bold, creative shows.
After a fantastic run of Mason NeSmith’s "Quest for the Amulet of Horos" this past July, and last February’s hit Starkid musical "Twisted, the Untold Story of a Royal Vizier," we’re thrilled to announce our next project: bringing another Starkid favorite, "The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals," to life for our local community. Our cast and crew work hard to create a fun, close-knit atmosphere, and our audiences really connect with the edgy humor and unique style we bring.
To make this production possible, we’re raising funds to cover everything from performance rights, costumes, sets, and venue rental, to microphones, marketing, food for tech week, pay for our dedicated team, and documenting the show with photos and video. We’re also hoping to build a small cushion to help us get ready for our next big project next summer.
Our performances will be February 20-22, 2026, and every little bit helps us keep this passion project alive and support the young artists involved. If you love theatre, Starkid, or want to support local arts and young adult theater, please consider helping us reach our goal. Thank you so much for any support you can give!
