Wildcat Band is back in action! Some yoga, some sectional rehearsals, and some ensemble time followed by pizza and popsicles - today was a good day 🎶

Thanks to Sara DaCosta for the stretch, to Ms. Bensler, Jack, and Noralyn from FHS Music Department and Neil from Symphony Music Shop for running some sectionals, and the administration & staff at FMS for all the support!

Ms. Bensler, Noralyn, and Jack all had a great time with Mr. Shanbrun and the Ford Middle School Back to School Band event! We are all super impressed with the Ford middle schoolers attention to detail and passion!

Maybe it’s time to pick up an instrument again? 🎻

A new survey commissioned by London Concertante found that 34% of adults regret giving up music; that’s around 19 million people.

This comes as provisional figures predict that only 4,635 students studied for music A-Level in England in 2026, down 4.9% from 2025 and 51% since 2008.
