🚨 DARK NEW ENGLAND / THE HAUNTED TRAIL — UPDATE FOR TONIGHT 🚨

Unfortunately, we are still experiencing issues with our guest parking area due to the current muddy conditions. We have again made the difficult decision to close the trail tonight. The safety and experience of our guests are always our top priority and we don’t want parking conditions to take away from the experience you came to enjoy.

We know many of you were looking forward to visiting us tonight, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment. We never take your support for granted, and we truly appreciate everyone who has been excited to experience the fear, thrills, and scares of Dark New England this season. 🖤

But the fear isn’t over just yet! 👻🎃

We are actively assessing the parking situation and implementing solutions to help prevent these issues from affecting our upcoming dates. Our goal is to make sure that when you come out to see us, you can focus on the experience and just have fun!

🗓️ We are also planning to ADD THREE MORE NIGHTS to our schedule! We will share an update tomorrow (Monday) with more information, so keep an eye on our page for the upcoming dates/times.

Hello all! While we try to see how the weather plays out before we make a difficult decision, I would like to make a statement.

Please do NOT call Silverbrook Farm to ask if we are open, when we open, what we do, what we are like, what times and hours are, are we scary, can you bring a boxed meal and many other questions as they are not the ones with these answers. We have our own number, our own website, and our own email. If you don’t get a response immediately, that is because chances are we are handling things on other ends like watching the weather and monitoring the trails and road ways. Canceling is never easy. In the past we could and WOULD open in the rain, as we did not have multiple wagons bringing people 1 mile into the woods and then dropping you off where you journey a lengthy trail. The wagon then brings you all back to your vehicles. We also didn’t have a parking lot in grass on farmland, or as many staff as we now do. When we cancel a night, it truly is NEVER EASY. Especially when so much goes into what we do. So, please be patient with us as we make our decision and bring any questions or concerns to Dark New England / The Haunted Trail directly.

🚨🚨Long post from the heart incoming🚨🚨

This Friday OCTOBER 9th Dark New England / The Haunted Trail opens its gates into our world that we litarally built from the ground up. This build season has by far been one of the most intense but at the same time one that will never be forgotten. building a haunt double the size we once were in every aspect from depth, scenes, atmosphere, size, actors, staff, and most importantly created a haunt unlike any around. We did it the way we do best " The Dark New England Way" and I couldn't be prouder of the team ive built. The odds were against us all year but not only did we push through it all as a team but we did something not many others could do and made something so massive that the future is endless. This year is only the start to what the future holds and make no doubt about it we will push to be one of the best haunted attractions in new england ruled by a team who all share the same passion and love for this s**t so much so that you can feel it the moment you enter the gate. Im proud to say my team is the rockstars of haunting and after pushing through so much in one year it would be safe to say we can push through anything.

Now that build season is over and our creatures have risen from the depths of the woods on one of the oldest recorded farms in southcoast history, we are happy to announce that WE COULDN'T BE MORE READY FOR YOU ALL.

Cheers to everyone and heres to Opening season of 2026 for our 4th year of madness and one that has since paved the way to many years to come with endless opportunities and future planning already happening. with that being said i want to give a huge shout out to all of my build team, management team, staff and of course our new home that has welcomed us with open arms "Silverbrook Farm" while also A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for all the love and support over the years especially those that have followed along this journey from the very backyard we started in, to Rhode island and now back to Massachusetts not far from where i started it all. This truly is such a dream come true and has been such a journey and I could not have done this all without everyone I just named. From staff to customers you all are what pushed and helped make this all happen.

YESS, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! Even though we moved from the city of East Providence Rhode island and moved to Acushnet Massachusetts we will still be in what is one of our favorite events. The New England Witches Guild parade and we couldn't be more ready for it. It was this parade that was the start to which became the stepping stone to many other big public events but it is one we feel right at home in and love all the witches guild for everything they do and how the welcome us with open arms. Can't wait to see everybody there and show love to where we got on our feet.
