Just bringing some much needed attention to Zac Clymer and the team over at 307 Outlaw Streets and their nonstop commitment to the community and public events they continue to bring for everyone to enjoy! Its moments like these that show true car culture isnt just a thing of the past and still very much in the community today! So please take some time to read the following below!
Sharing this a little earlier than typical but we’ve been excited to announce this event. **The date is tentative as we still await county approval for our 2026 schedule.**
The first event of 2026 will be the Einar Matheson Memorial Race.
Einar Matheson was one of our biggest supporters in making these events happen. Racing wasn’t just something he enjoyed — it was a passion. When we needed community backing, Einar showed up. He spoke on our behalf at the first public county commissioner meeting to help create this opportunity. He believed in what we were building.
If you were talking hot rods or racing around here, Einar’s name was bound to come up. He was a local legend — not just because of what he accomplished, but because of who he was.
Here is a brief excerpt from his obituary that describes him best:
“He attended high school and some college before stepping fully into the life of a mechanic, a calling that fit him perfectly. Cars were more than machines to Einar; they were stories, challenges, and connections. He loved the grease on his hands, the satisfaction of a job done right, and the sound of an engine coming back to life. Winning an NHRA Wally in Denver was one of his proudest moments, not just for the trophy, but for the memories he made during that time — and only a few months ago, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of racing in an organized drag race in his hometown with friends and family close by.”
This race is for Einar.
We hope you’ll come out, have a blast, and help us honor a fellow hot rodder.
