Theatre III of Acton
Theatre III of Acton, located at 250 Central St., West Acton, is a non-profit, volunteer community theatre. We love putting on shows for our community and we are eager to welcome new friends--on stage, backstage or in administrative areas, with or without experience. We have great fun as we offer at least three productions each year, including at least one musical. We are located in the old white church next to the West Acton Fire Station, where we have been active for more than 60 years. Come join us and have some fun!

Catch this groovy couple and real-life spouses Peter Cavicchio and Carla Perrotta in the comedy “Lovers and Other Strangers” opening Friday, November 5, at Theatre III in Acton. Peter will portray Sky Masterson in CCP’s production of “Guys and Dolls” next May, presumably sans mustache. For tickets for “Lovers and Other Strangers,” go to

To our old friends at Theatre III, I wanted to share the passing of Barbara Browne, longtime past Board Member and past Artistic Director. We invite you to attend her wake if you are so inclined. See link to service information. Thanks!
Was going through a folder containing music and found the attached letter. In 1981 I was assistant props mistress for the Theatre III production of "Oklahoma." The following spring instead of a play we performed choral numbers (which I still have all the music for) including: Choral selections from "West Side Story", Theme from "New York, New York", "Street of Dreams", "Georgia on My Mind," "Ready to Take a Chance Again," "This is My Country," Selections from "Fame" and "The Rainbow Connection" (encore).

In The Greenroom at The Addams Family Sept 20- Oct 6 Meet our Grandma Addams, Faith Kasparian! Faith’s love of community theater began as a child, performing in productions directed by her Mom (who, coincidentally, directed for AFD)! Her favorite roles include Grandma Addams from "The Addams Family" (Theatre III, Acton); Doris MacAfee from "Bye Bye Birdie" (Colonial Chorus Players, Reading); Laurey from "Oklahoma" (Saxtons River Playhouse, Saxtons River, VT); the Fairy Godmother from "Cinderella" (The Arlington Players, Arlington, VA); and Yum-Yum from "The Mikado" (Little Theatre of Alexandria, Alexandria. VA), for which she was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a musical by the Northern Virginia Theater Alliance. During the day, Faith is a privacy and intellectual property attorney with the law firm Morse, where she focuses on technology transactions. Faith thanks the amazing production team and cast for a wonderful experience and her family for their love and support!
