Teenagers + cameras = instant silent mode. 🤫🎹😂

I tried to capture a quick video of my daughter practicing piano, and the SECOND she noticed that little my phone in the air…hands off the keys. 😂 The music completely stopped!

So, a little reminder to all of our TLO Music parents: don’t do too much.😉

As parents, it’s easy to get excited and want to document every milestone. But sometimes, creating a low-pressure environment is exactly what helps our kids feel comfortable enough to keep playing.

Comfort over content is important!!

As long as they’re practicing, they’re making progress. They’re winning. 💕 Even if you don’t get the video to prove it!

Because sometimes the best music happens when nobody is watching. 🎹✨

POV: From heavy lifting and post-move TLC to leading worship with it in its new home. 🎹

The journey to finally get this Baby Grand into our "Piano Room" was no joke! It took lots of muscle (more than estimated), a thorough deep-clean, and a much-needed tuning after the move. But watching it transform into the heartbeat of our house makes every single step worth it.

Even with a studio downstairs full of electronic gear, praise and worship rehearsals and lessons keep migrating right up here. Nothing compares to the presence, power, and authentic sound of real ebony and ivory when we’re worshipping together.

When piano lessons accidentally turn into house concerts! 🎶

Meet Josiah! Josiah treated us to an impromptu upstairs recital on our new piano for his mom and a few of us who happened to be around. Somehow our lessons keep migrating out of the studio and into the main house, but with music filling every room like this, we’re not complaining one bit!
