The Road To TransWorld: Season 2 Episode: 1

Big news for us for the 2023 season! Barrett's Haunted Mansion along with Fright Kingdom, Haunted Overload, and Salem will be a part of the 2023 Legendary Haunt Tour!

We're honored to be one of the haunts chosen from the New England area. There will be much more information coming as it gets closer and we'll be sure to keep you updated with the Haunt Tour information and how you can be a part of it!

In the meantime, we'll be heading to the TransWorld's Halloween & Attractions Show in February again to prepare for our 32nd season!

Join us Sunday December 18th for two special events! Breakfast with Santa at the Abington Ale House from 8-11am, reservations recommended. Breakfast menu available on www.AbingtonAleHouse.com or by scanning the QR code.

Followed by the Barrett's Haunted Mansion Holiday Toy Drive to support Campbell Christmas Angels from 11am-3pm. Toys/donations can also be dropped off at the Abington Ale House during Breakfast with Santa.

Drop off a new unwrapped toy or cash donation and get a holiday photo with our characters. Free hot chocolate and cookies! See the list of items needed.

Save the date! Sunday December 18th, we'll be having our Holiday Toy Drive to support Campbell Christmas Angels (https://campbellchristmasangels.org/). Exact time and more details coming soon! We'll have some of our characters there for photo ops and more.

Something that we really enjoyed on one of our final nights of the season, many of our roaming characters had the pleasure of meeting a local fan, Mark Garrity. Seeing the smile on his face when surrounded by just some of our characters really made our night.

Every season we do over 1000 character makeups. Here is a tiny selection of about 1 hour's time in 3 minutes from just one of our very talented makeup artists.

We'd like to thank every staff member who made this season a success. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make the a show like this happen, beginning with review of the previous season in November, planning for the next season, tearing it all down and rebuilding it each year, hiring, orientation/training, graphic design, merchandise, social media and the list goes on and on.

We wish you all a safe and happy Halloween
On to 2023.

Thanks to all who came out to join us for our 31st season! Our staff of actors, parking, security, and managers appreciate every moment and are spending Halloween doing other Halloween things with friends and family.

We'll have all new sets, more characters, shows, entertainment and will continue to improve and grow for 2023 as we enter season 32.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR OUR DEVIL'S NIGHT EVENTS. Advanced online tickets are required for this event. Tickets are VERY limited and we do expect this event, like last week, to sell out. We will not have tickets available once we hit capacity.
There is a waiver that must be signed by everyone in your group before entering the attraction line. We will have a check-in booth for these. We will email out the form to ticket holders Wednesday afternoon for those who wish to pre-print/sign the waiver for quicker processing.
This is an 18+ event and we will ask for ID's. If you are under 18 years of age, you will not be allowed to enter the property.
This is a SINGLE ATTRACTION EVENT. Our second attraction, Condemned, will NOT be open during this event.

We will be fully open tonight, Sunday October 23rd. There is some rain in the forecast for this evening but we do have covered queue lines for each attraction, however the areas between queue lines, and our Condemned attraction are open air, so please plan accordingly for wet weather.

Part 2 in our tips and tricks for visiting Barrett's Haunted Mansion (or most haunted attractions in October) - What to expect on Friday and Saturday nights as it gets closer to Halloween.

Expect: Sold out nights.
Tip: Purchase your tickets online in advance to avoid missing out. Once we are sold out, we will not have additional tickets available.

Expect: Long lines.
Tip: Get there early (6-6:30pm) or later (10:30-11pm) for shorter wait times. Between 7 and 10pm are peak times. As long as you are in line by 11pm on Friday/Saturday nights, you'll be able to go through both attractions. We do have in-line entertainment, trivia, movie clips, hourly shows and more to help keep you entertained while waiting.

Tip 2: Upgrade to RIP tickets. This gets you in a much shorter line for each attraction. RIP can be purchased in advance online or can be upgraded at anytime throughout the night at our ticket booth until they are sold out, or can be purchased in advance from our website.

Tip 3: Upgrade to RIP tickets for one attraction. Many people don't want to miss the in-line entertainment and will wait in one line but will upgrade to RIP for the second attraction to avoid a second line. Upgrades for one attraction are $15/ticket and can be upgraded throughout the night at our ticket booth until they are sold out.

Expect: Some people not following the rules
Tip: If you see anyone that you believe is cutting in line, drinking alcohol, smoking or generally being disorderly, please have someone in your group find a member of our staff/security and we will handle any issues. Please do not attempt to handle them yourselves.

This is for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.

We do the best we can to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. We will continue to make improvements throughout the season to keep lines moving along, but please be patient. Friday and Saturday nights, especially this weekend and next are typically the busiest of the season for haunted attractions. Please plan accordingly for sold out nights and longer lines.
