Save the Date! Company auditions for the 2025-2026 season will be held on Saturday, May 3rd! This audition is open to anyone with intermediate to advanced ballet experience (ages 11+).

Being apart of Ballet Chesapeake is the perfect stepping stone for dance students who hope to take their training into the professional dance world or a college dance program after high school. Ballet Chesapeake offers numerous performance opportunities and the chance for students to work with professional dancers and choreographers to build their experience and growth as a dancer.

The Workshop includes daily ballet technique classes as well as modern, pointe, variations, and pas de deux classes with renowned guest professionals and Ballet Chesapeake faculty.

During the weeks leading up to opening day, our studios and backstage become this magical space filled with such inspiration, joy, and unity.

How lucky we are to have these experiences as a company? And we hope that with each performance, our audiences were also able to experience the universal connection and sense of well-being that ballet can so often provide. Thank you all so much for choosing to celebrate the season with us. Thank you for recognizing the brilliance that is possible when we come together to experience art, music, and life.

Let’s not forget the small army of individuals who work tirelessly to make this production possible. Each member of this extensive team has a specific and very important role in helping to create the magic you see on stage. Thank you so much to each and every volunteer!

A huge congratulations to our new artistic team! Hans Nelson and Meighan Winner jumped into their new roles with such an incredible sense of unity and collaboration, and we couldn’t be more grateful for you!

Lastly, to our dancers, we are humbled by the commitment you brought to each and every rehearsal and performance! Congratulations and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Christmas came early for these Hot Chocolate dancers, who got their beautiful new fans in the mail!

In ballet, the ensemble is called the 'Corps' because they're supposed to move as one body. Our Waltz of the Flowers dancers are working hard to achieve this magical effect!

Coppelia won't take the stage until April, but we're already hard at work on the Mazurka!
